B152 – biggest trip of my life

today is the last friday before I leave london for a massive trip filming somewhere in canada and the states, im not really 100% sure yet but apparently but flights have been booked, im leaving on Sunday.

so yesterday was all about getting ready for this trip, buying some last minute essentials and make sure I haven’t forgotten anything. What im thinking is on this trip, was every day I might not be able to take photos on my 5d, upload them to my laptop edit them and then write about them on here, the whole process is normally about 45 mintues from when I start to when I finish. some days it might just be a case of taking some iphone snaps and doing it on my phone, which isnt the worst idea, but yesterday was quite a good test for me todo, in the idea of taking some quick snaps when I get the chance and then having the content there for me to write about when ever I can.

One thing I promise you, is I will still be posting everyday, I have no idea what time, but it will be every day. with me probably being in quite a few different time zones, I think it would be impossible to post at 10am GMT every day, it might just be better if I post at 10am where ever I am. my plan for Sunday and Monday is to have those posts lined up before, so my first post would be in Tuesday, which should give me time to take some bangers and also see about time differences and how I can still post for the mornings in the UK, instead of like 11pm GMT.

anyway this post isn’t really a fun one, its just me apologising in advance for properly some really unorganised posts.

(sorry for the spelling mistakes)

B145 – A DOG THAT CAN ANSWER THE PHONE

Yesterday was a bit of a busy day,  that started at 7 in the morning somewhere in North London with a dog that could Answer a phone, no joke. He could literally take a phone off the hook and then put his head to it, craziness. Anyway, yesterday I was working with an old chum for the day on a commercial, which involved a really really smart dog.

After that finished, it was back to London for a sick clothing company called Lone Rascals party, at a vodka distillery in Hackney, check out her clothing its pretty cool stuff, perfect for all your festival and party needs! http://www.lone-rascal.com. thank you to Izzy and aggie for a fun party!

Im a bit hungover and late for work so ill keep this short and simple, check out this photos from yesterday, I think they are actually really cool. for a busy day running around, I’m pretty happy with how they’ve turned out.

Oh yea im trying to find the perfect export settings for my photos, so if they look dodgy over the next few days, let me know. I want to get the best setting of smart phones and laptops, its not the easiest thing in the world, so if any one knows the perfect settings please let me know!

and heres the link to Lone Rascals again just incase you missed it before: http://www.lone-rascal.com

B124 – It took forever

Northumberland to London: 9 hours 30 minutes. this should not of taken this long, but because of one phone call our day got a lot longer. while stopping at a service station somewhere near Sheffeild, we were asked to go to Norfolk and shoot some more sequences last minute. So pedal to the metal and we are now driving over to Norfolk, only to get there and for it to be canned. but lucky we stopped near a McDonalds, which made the whole de-tour, I have to say it was probably the best Mcflurry Ive ever had.

Back in London now and on my way to work. I definitely think I should of been brought up on a farm somewhere with a quad bike and a dog called Boris. but London’s good for now and having phone signal is definitely a plus.

B124-1
– theres worst breakfast spots –

B124-1-2
– I do love a traffic jam –

B124-1-3
– 1 hour 40 minute detour for a McDonalds, anit too bad –

B123 – back to the city

This week I’ve been in a place called Allendale. Running about filming stuff. After a proper curry last night at a place called the spice mill, we are now driving the 5 and a half hours back to London.  I don’t know why the curries relevant but I thought I would meniton it anyway. As it was a pretty good curry.
I’m looking forward to getting back to zone 2 life, but at the same time kind of think it would be cool to wake up in the countryside every day, chuck on a pair of boots, wake your dog up and jump on a quad bike and work on a farm. But for now I’ll just have to head back to London, and the fresh air of the underground.
Here’s a few countryside snaps of Allendale.

– can’t beat a local parish –
– another shot of a field –
– this is also a field –

B107 -Give me a red bull and some Haribo

Norfolk day two.

Theres nothing harder than doing a full day of location filming and then coming back to a hotel room to edit, write and upload this. I just wanted to get that out there. this isnt a moan just an observation. if you know you know.

Today has been a very good days shooting, long but its been fun, the only down side as to be that we forgot to buy suncream, which has resulted in my neck taking a beating. If any one is wondering what has happened today, I can let you know Ive had a good conversation with someone about how they think if all the ants came together they could team up and take down the human race. no joke. and yes this person was stoned. the conversation was ended when I mentioned that we could just move to the ANTartic… because ants don’t like snow.

I wanted to post some pictures of this white chevvy truck that was parked near me and alos a picture of the coolest cat ive ever seen. she does what she likes.

B009 – Today is Tuesday

Happy Tuesday, heres some snaps from my Monday. Yesterday I had a shoot at the London Free Hospital, with a really really smart man. London Free Hospital, is where you go if you catch ebola or any other tropical diseases. so basically I was the closest to ebola I’ve ever been.
