its been a big week and its only Tuesday night (when I writing this), today I finished work at like 7:45ish and was like screw it im going to westminster to be a proper tourist and just take pictures and just enjoy being in London, something I think im actually doing more and more, I keep finding that I will purposely sometimes go the long route just so I can see some more of this crazy city! I love everything about london, other than the tubes, I hate the tubes.
So here a few snaps of my hour on Embankment last night.
– “make sure you get my good side” –– cant beat a good clock –– We’re watching you –
Im still editing pictures from the other day with flo. so instead of taking pictures of my day and not really showing anything half as good as this little gremlin, heres a few more of florence Kentfeild and one of a cloud.
– shes literally a monkey –– anit nothing stopping her from playing in the rain –– I just thought I would put this weird cloud up –
tip: before “chilling” with flo, make sure you have at least one red bull, other wise you’ve got no hope. the swings, the puddles and the weird baby doll that sounds like chuwbakka all mean you are gunna be running around. its not 11 o clock on Sunday night, I have work in the morning and right now flo as literally killed me. Thanks for that flo! I definitely need to spend more time with that little ball of chaos and would have her any other way!
– I promise this isnt actually that high –– trust me I can catch you –– “is that a squal?” –
Yesterday I my day in stratford shopping centre getting supplies and most importantly new socks. Then in the evening, Amy and me went out for dinner in tower hill. Decent. But nothing comes close to the fact I saw the best storm trooper outfit of my life. I think I could even be a real storm trooper.
Heres the snaps.
– Ive always wanted to see one in person –– close but not cigar –– this could be spain, but its London zone 1 –
This weather is perfect, spent Friday night in a pub garden and after a busy day of work and meetings I didn’t really take as many photos as I should but here as the best ones from the day. I really not sure of the point in this Website, but I am enjoying the challenge of trying to take good photos everyday and get them online by mid day the next day.
I think im doing an ok job, but thats for you guys to decide.
– ROOF TOPS AS OLD AS LONDON – – think I can get up there? – – the last picture I took –
Running out of work on my lunch break to take a few snaps, its actually a good thing todo and a reason to get some fresh air and catch a bit of the sun. im going to keep these short a sweet for the next few weeks till I finish my current job.
– if you look close you can see the blue sky –– solid bit of scaff –– they call it morden architecture, I call it something else –
Some times, literally nothing happens and I spent the day in front of a computer, today was one of those days. So heres a some old photos I found on my hard drive from a few months back, on a trip to a family easter egg hunt.
” go on pheobe draw a star” –– cant beat some good old country side –– “do you think I can take a picture using the stick? –
After being inside for literally the whole day, I need to spend some time out side in the fresh, so amy and me head to the beer garden, just down the cannel from where I live.
– “josh stop taking photos of me” –– The Beer Garden –– east Londons finest –
today was supposed to be me, on the sofa watching films, which it was for 13 hours of the day. but I got a message today from Charlotte, telling me about some community feast going on in the park, so went along a met her and some of her m8’s. the thing that was happening is actually quite cool, this chef goes round to all the grocery stores and collects the food they cant sell, then basically cooks it up for any one and everyone and basically has this cool little feast. its not some charity thing, asking for money and trying to sign you up to monthly emails. this is just good food and chilling out all of a small donation of any kind. shes a genius and has created this cool Sunday community or decent people.
A lot of the time London can seem like a place full of wankers rushing around, pretending their busy, but today I sat down and spoke to a complete stranger, about how he went to Mexico and didn’t speak or say any words for 10 days, it was for some yoga, Im not sure if i could do it, but it was actually quite cool just to chat with a stranger about something other than tube delays.
