Norfolk day two.

Theres nothing harder than doing a full day of location filming and then coming back to a hotel room to edit, write and upload this. I just wanted to get that out there. this isnt a moan just an observation. if you know you know.

Today has been a very good days shooting, long but its been fun, the only down side as to be that we forgot to buy suncream, which has resulted in my neck taking a beating. If any one is wondering what has happened today, I can let you know Ive had a good conversation with someone about how they think if all the ants came together they could team up and take down the human race. no joke. and yes this person was stoned. the conversation was ended when I mentioned that we could just move to the ANTartic… because ants don’t like snow.

I wanted to post some pictures of this white chevvy truck that was parked near me and alos a picture of the coolest cat ive ever seen. she does what she likes.

today im in norfolk on a shoot for the next few days and currently sat in my hotel room backing up rushes another 30 minutes and ill be in that bar!  Im just hitting that 12 hour mark, so in the TV world I’m just coming up to my lunch break, nothing too crazy. I think its going to be a fun little series Im working on and should be going to some even cooler locations, so my photography game will be on sick, so fingers crossed it pulls through and I get to go. anyway heres my photos from today im going to keep this short and sweet for now, Ive got footage to back up and beer to drink!

B101 – LONGER WINTERS AND SHORTER SUMMERS IN THE UK

As im writing this post, its raining not just a bit its actually chucking it down, yesterday it was boiling hot, today its completely changed. My first idea for this post was to show some photos of the rain and maybe a few puddles around london, but I thought screw that im going to show some good weather and live in the past rather than face facts that London will never be the Mediterranean.

I even read an article the other day that said because of global warming, that Europe will experience cooling, meaning our summers will be even shorter and the winters a lot longer! This is becuase of the greenland Ice caps melting and the gulf stream, so in fact the cold air will be pushed into the golf stream and basically turn Europe into a fridge freezer.

B093 – ORANGE BUFFALO CHICKEN WINGS

if you’ve ever been to brick lane and not tried the chicken wings you’ve gotta re-think your next trip. theres only one place to get the wings from and thats Orange Buffalo, some people would argue that the original sauce is better than the woof woof, but for me its Woof Woof with a side of blue cheese sauce the whole way! they’re a bit spicy but that just adds to the incredible taste.

If you get there between 12 – 3pm you can get the lunch time deal, chips, wings and blue cheese sauce all of £7.50! and trust me they give you enough food!

Amy: Half and Half wings – Woof woof and original sauce wings, chips, blue cheese sauce and a can of coke.

Amy definitely did the right thing and get half and half, I was kind of jealous. but once your three wings deep I didnt really think about that any more.

B074 – WHAT CAMERAS BETTER?

I thought this would be a good time to have a look at three of my cameras and see what takes the best photo. Im going to compare the canon 5d, Sony wx350 and the Iphone SE. I know the 5d is a few times more expensive, but its also not the most practical camera, where as the wx350 can be a sick little pocket rocket. But Ive also gotta give it to the iphone, its a decent phone and a pretty good camera.

to make this fair I thought its only right I take three photos of the same thing, and then see how they match up to each other.

to be honest, obviously the 5d is better. but you cant carry it round everywhere, I like the wx350 is a good little camera, but the iphone is holding up in my eyes.

I think to top I will use my Iphone as a camera, but I dont want to get into the habbit of it, because a photo on a point and shoot is always going to win in.

SO i dont really have answer to this, I like all three camera’s and will probably use all three camera’s just as much.

B063 – who said it always rains in manchester –

two day has been a day of two halfs, a missed train from reading to Manchester, an angry taxi driver who tried to hold me as a hostage of a mistake that his comms office and a lost jumper (it was my new favourite), all added to me only having one option grabbing a pint before the next train to Manchester and then sleeping all the way, so now im sat in a pretty swanky hotel room in manchester wide awake!

but over all im pretty happy with the pictures i managed to get, by the way, I cant take any photos of my location or anything this week, so time to get creative. Ive brought a big pack of balloons just in case I run out of ideas and need to make some water bombs or something.
