Last night I was walking to liverpool street from Bank station, something im doing todo on the last days of my office/desk job is to walk from one tube station on another tube along the line i need, just so I dont spend countless hours on the tube when I could be in the sun taking snaps.
– Spot the man –– squeezing new buildings in everywhere –– views –
its been a big week and its only Tuesday night (when I writing this), today I finished work at like 7:45ish and was like screw it im going to westminster to be a proper tourist and just take pictures and just enjoy being in London, something I think im actually doing more and more, I keep finding that I will purposely sometimes go the long route just so I can see some more of this crazy city! I love everything about london, other than the tubes, I hate the tubes.
So here a few snaps of my hour on Embankment last night.
– “make sure you get my good side” –– cant beat a good clock –– We’re watching you –
Some times, literally nothing happens and I spent the day in front of a computer, today was one of those days. So heres a some old photos I found on my hard drive from a few months back, on a trip to a family easter egg hunt.
” go on pheobe draw a star” –– cant beat some good old country side –– “do you think I can take a picture using the stick? –
basically im hungover and stuck in bed, thats it. Yesterday was a pretty good day. my mate Andrew, is back from Australia for a few weeks so we had a little trip out around Brick Lane, If I knew more about the night I would say, but it all got a bit hazey around Lunch time.
– Ben being happy –– The sun Tavern, best pub around –– ben just happy to be with his friends –– My mate Andrew back from Oz and doing my shoe lace up-
Friday was a bit crazy, I don’t think I looked at anything other than my computer and my phone occasionally. So to be honest, i completely forgot to take pictures and then around 4ish I had the realisations that I was “picturless”, I decided to take some pictures of my view out of the office, which kind of works, plus one from the entrance downstairs.
– oh look its centre point –– big ben –– for some reason I like this –
I live on Bethnal Green Road which is probably one of the best places around, from the markets, cafes and Nandos to the 24/7 off licence. One of the best things about this place is the weird and pretty cool street art, the graffiti and abandoned living room furniture.
Today I saw some funky posters and ended up talking to an old man about walking and running which was a weird way to start the morning. Apparently his doctor cant believe how much walking he does each day.
– just snap was taken just before I met my mate –– ill be back in abit for the sofa –– who’s to blame the man or the dog? –
DAY 4 of living on a sofa and right now I just need so of that good stuff, fresh air. yesterday I made it out for a bit and thought i would see how far I could make it into the woods, turns out not that far. Anyway, there was another banging sunset last night, which I think is worthy of another snap.
Last night Amy and me ended up trekking round Hampstead heath in the dark trying to find parliament hill, after walking the wrong way a few times we finally found it.
Check these snaps out.
– LONDON I CANT HEAR YOU –– amys making a star –– The London sky line –
After a ruby last night, I had a vindaloo, normally im a korma kind of guy but apperently thats a childs curry, so I upped my game. half way through the meal DAVE was telling me how shit my writing is in these posts, which I have to disagree with. Anyway I woke up this morning completly regretting the vindaloo with phal sauce and remembered that my pictures of yesterday were only of Daves bald head.
So heres the snaps of daves head and also some cool pictures of brick lane I took a few weeks back.
– This is my friend dave –– Just off Brick lane –– I like shapes –– is it 3D or Graffiti –
Yesterday I was running around all over london and forgot my camera, so it got to like 8ish, I was standing outside tesco thinking what can I take a picture of. So I ended up buying a bunch of fruit and see what they looked like inside.
