This weather is perfect, spent Friday night in a pub garden and after a busy day of work and meetings I didn’t really take as many photos as I should but here as the best ones from the day. I really not sure of the point in this Website, but I am enjoying the challenge of trying to take good photos everyday and get them online by mid day the next day.
I think im doing an ok job, but thats for you guys to decide.
– ROOF TOPS AS OLD AS LONDON – – think I can get up there? – – the last picture I took –
Running out of work on my lunch break to take a few snaps, its actually a good thing todo and a reason to get some fresh air and catch a bit of the sun. im going to keep these short a sweet for the next few weeks till I finish my current job.
– if you look close you can see the blue sky –– solid bit of scaff –– they call it morden architecture, I call it something else –
Some times, literally nothing happens and I spent the day in front of a computer, today was one of those days. So heres a some old photos I found on my hard drive from a few months back, on a trip to a family easter egg hunt.
” go on pheobe draw a star” –– cant beat some good old country side –– “do you think I can take a picture using the stick? –
After being inside for literally the whole day, I need to spend some time out side in the fresh, so amy and me head to the beer garden, just down the cannel from where I live.
– “josh stop taking photos of me” –– The Beer Garden –– east Londons finest –
today was supposed to be me, on the sofa watching films, which it was for 13 hours of the day. but I got a message today from Charlotte, telling me about some community feast going on in the park, so went along a met her and some of her m8’s. the thing that was happening is actually quite cool, this chef goes round to all the grocery stores and collects the food they cant sell, then basically cooks it up for any one and everyone and basically has this cool little feast. its not some charity thing, asking for money and trying to sign you up to monthly emails. this is just good food and chilling out all of a small donation of any kind. shes a genius and has created this cool Sunday community or decent people.
A lot of the time London can seem like a place full of wankers rushing around, pretending their busy, but today I sat down and spoke to a complete stranger, about how he went to Mexico and didn’t speak or say any words for 10 days, it was for some yoga, Im not sure if i could do it, but it was actually quite cool just to chat with a stranger about something other than tube delays.
basically im hungover and stuck in bed, thats it. Yesterday was a pretty good day. my mate Andrew, is back from Australia for a few weeks so we had a little trip out around Brick Lane, If I knew more about the night I would say, but it all got a bit hazey around Lunch time.
– Ben being happy –– The sun Tavern, best pub around –– ben just happy to be with his friends –– My mate Andrew back from Oz and doing my shoe lace up-
Friday was a bit crazy, I don’t think I looked at anything other than my computer and my phone occasionally. So to be honest, i completely forgot to take pictures and then around 4ish I had the realisations that I was “picturless”, I decided to take some pictures of my view out of the office, which kind of works, plus one from the entrance downstairs.
– oh look its centre point –– big ben –– for some reason I like this –
These are a few snaps from Victoria, yesterday morning, before the weather suddenly switched and pissed it down for the rest of the day. I dont know when it happened but Victroia got some pretty weird and funky shaped buildings. I came out the tube yesterday, looked up and was impressed.
Heres da snaps.
– is it a wonky pyramid? –– looks like big lego blocks –– all proper weird shapes –
At the moment, I cant show anything that I’m working on, so my life outside work is the tube journey, during the week. hopefully once I’m off the crutches I can start cycling again and get some of that decent London rush hour fresh air, which beats London rush hour tube air. Anyway, when you actually look at the Tube station and notice that alot of these places actually have some weird London tube atmosphere, its pretty fun taking pictures, so get used to it.
– Liverpool street underground –– coming out of Bethnal Green in the rain –– At Bethnal green –
