Just landed in Naples, Italy. This place is unreal, from the crazy drivers who literally drive where ever they want, to the 100ft cliffs with 7 houses a car park and hotel stuck on the side. We are looking forward to exploring this part of the world tomorrow morning with a hike up a volcano and then onto Pompeii to see the ruins of the old town. Should be a good morning with some cool photos.
Here’s a few snaps from our first afternoon here…
– Amy giving it some sass –– a little beach we found yesterday evening –– the view from our bedroom –
Manon and Pauline thanks for taking us in for the past few days and showing us around your home town, it was actually such a sick weekend. so much fun and so many pictures, but thanks for taking us to a million different lakes, tropical parties and some old cave! I also think my french has improved. Look forward to seeing you guys in London or again in Switzerland ! SALUTE! much love and all that, Amy and Josh!
Heres a few snaps!
– real girl band stuff –– the legends Manon & Pauline –– a waterfall in side the cave, it was like 1km under the mountain! –
First thing, im sun burnt. really really sunburnt, ill post some photos tomorrow of my Sunburn, but today I wanted to show you how cool switzerland is, we literally sat by the water the whole afternoon just chilling out and swimming. In the morning though we went up into the mountains to find this new suspension bridge over a Valley, im not sure how high this is but it was pretty far up.
– amy’s sur la pont –– it doesnt look that high, but it really was –– they like volleyball in Switzerland –– it looks like he caught the boat-
so interesting fact, lake geneva is actually called Lake Leman. Amy and me are here for a little trip this weekend staying with some friends manon and Pauline, I was supposed to be running an Ultra Marathon in Chatel tomorrow, but because I tore the tendon in my leg I had to pulled out, so we are just here drinking wine and eating cheese.
Yesterday we ended with us having a bbq by Lake Leman (lake geneva) and ended with me jumping in the not so warm lake in my boxers, proper brits abroad style.
– a photo of the BBQ –– its a proper swiss view –– looks like an eagle, actually a pigeon –
Around bethnal green and shoreditch the poster game has been definitely got better, each day I see a bunch of random weird posters and they actually make the walk to work easier. you gotta love the London sense of humour, politics is always a long debate, but I think these posters sum it all up pretty easy, Jeremy eating hamsters and May is a dominatrix. end of discussion.
who ever is putting these posters up, carry on its making my walk to work better.
– Jeremy eating hamsters again –– I have that fear –– saucy may –
I thought this would be a good time to have a look at three of my cameras and see what takes the best photo. Im going to compare the canon 5d, Sony wx350 and the Iphone SE. I know the 5d is a few times more expensive, but its also not the most practical camera, where as the wx350 can be a sick little pocket rocket. But Ive also gotta give it to the iphone, its a decent phone and a pretty good camera.
to make this fair I thought its only right I take three photos of the same thing, and then see how they match up to each other.
– canon 5d mkii w/ 24-105mm lens –– Iphone SE –– Sony wx350 –
to be honest, obviously the 5d is better. but you cant carry it round everywhere, I like the wx350 is a good little camera, but the iphone is holding up in my eyes.
I think to top I will use my Iphone as a camera, but I dont want to get into the habbit of it, because a photo on a point and shoot is always going to win in.
SO i dont really have answer to this, I like all three camera’s and will probably use all three camera’s just as much.
Today was the day I got a new phone something I haven’t had for ages, for the past 5 months I’ve been on a Samsung s5 the worst phone on the planet, but today I moved back to iPhone! So I though I would see how easy it is to take three photos (they only were quick snaps, today’s been a bit busy) and edit them on my laptop and then up load this post from my phone. So far so good, but tomorrow I will do a proper test, with a 5D, Sony point and shoot and this iPhone SE . Let’s see how this bad boy holds up.
– this is a garage – – not really sure what’s going on here but thought it was a good idea for a photo –
– I like this poster, no idea what kind of thing it’s for though –
so apparently over the weekend someone in my flat had a part and was playing ed sheeran, I know this because of the note a neighbour had left on the entrance, its one of the best complaints ive ever seen.
– this is the only picture you need to see today –– reminds me of walking dead –– east end has it all –
Spent yesterday in Norfolk, doing nothing, apart from going to some country park thing, and then the pub. that was basically it, now im on the train back to london, feeling sleepy and needing some more food. I LOVE SUNDAY. Oh and i broke my camera so sorry if the pictures are a little out of focus, there literally nothing i can do about it till I get it fixed.
So before my train yesterday I wanted to pop to st annes Square to see the memorial for those people killed at the concert a few weeks back, everyone was telling me how amazing it was, when I got there they had taken to the memorial down, the only thing left was a few flowers on the statue and some candle wax on the floor. it was properly raining, the type of rain that somehow only manchester can have. Ā But i still thought it was only right to leave some flowers and show some respect.
MUCH LOVE MANCHESTER!
– a message left my manchester –– this is me putting some flowers down –– it was properly raining, so I used a shower cap to protect my camera –
